So 2012 and at a close. It was a year full of ups and downs for me. I won’t go into to much of it as I am sure by now everyone has read at least half a dozen posts of the same nature be it on a blog or on facebook. I will instead focus on what I accomplished in terms of my mail goals and what I plan to do for 2013.
My mailing goal for 2012 was to send 1000 letters/postcards/Atc’s. I am happy to say I not only met that goal I sent 1304 pieces of mail. Not a bad year at all right? I did not include mailing of bills in there even though it was tempting because there is some guaranteed sends every month.
For 2013 I am making a much smaller mail goal. Why you ask? Well because I plan to try to keep a full log of what kind of mail I am sending as well and I wish to focus more on that. My fellow mail lover Missive Maven has a very nice system of mail. I am not sure I am going to go that big for this year, I want to ease into it.So I will focus right now on how many of what I send this year is letters, how many postcards and how many ATC and such. I have my notebook ready and I am eagerly poised to start my first mail for 2013.
I also have some other plans for the year. Getting Noteably yours into a workable condition again. Also a new venture with my friend Cassandra called Goddess Creations. I can not wait to share that with everyone. So I hope that everyone has had a decent 2012 and let us get ready to make a new fresh start.

1000 letters! WOW! I’m just getting back into letter writing, and just started on good ol’ Swap-bot in November, so I’m not setting goals like that just yet. I focus more on quality, so I’m aiming to put a lot of effort and thought into my letters and packages. I suppose I can measure my success by the hearts I receive. And the number of people who actually write back.
