What was your favorite plaything as a child? Do you see any connection between your life now, and your favorite childhood toy?
My favorite toy as a kid was my horses. Whether they be My Little Pony’s or Grand Champions. They were called the most beautiful horses in the world and when I was a kid they truly were. I didn’t have as many as my best friend at the time Jessica, but I had some. I made them a barn and everything. I loved those Grand Champions (and my little pony’s) I had mares, I had Stallions I had babies. I have some of the special limited ones you got from saving box tops.
Now look at them..look at them now. Just like everything else cheap and..just oh not so great. I just wow. I wouldn’t want my Daughter to have this ugly little thing. I just, so sad. I mean look at the difference in quality.
The facial elegance is gone the expression is missing. Is it just me? I mean it can’t be right. The connection now I suppose is that I still love horses. I have always loved horses and I always will love horses. Sadly between all of my moves and having to sell because of my dumb ex I no longer have any of my Grand Champions. I may hit Ebay and see if I can find any of my favorite ones to have for old time sake. Like Captain Courageous the special mail in boy.
He was one of the special ones I did not get. I didn’t have the mail order money at the time. My friend Jessica had him and I coveted him so much. I really wanted him even though I had others. Maybe I could get him now as an adult for fun right? Horses are like air!
