Born in the Tundra of Minnesota, I have since become a bit of a Gypsy. Currently calling home base the hot sands of Arizona, I do still travel often. Whether the journey is a physical one, or one taken by reading a fantastic book it doesn't matter, the fun is always in the adventure. As always I am an eclectic person that likes a wide array of things and has many passions. Creating, advocating for animals and Mothering just to name a few.

Get ready for another intense episode that starts your pulse running in the first seconds, Rudy seems to have found himself in a bad spot and we do not know how he managed that until of course we do one of those handy, “24 hours earlier” things they like to do on TV shows and movies. John and Dorian have certainly hit a certain stride that makes you continually laugh at their banter; it lends the show a few good light moments in-between the crime fighting that gives it a nice balance. Just in the first half of the show Dorian gets John to eat a slug and there is some playful banter that involves John stating he would kill himself if he lived in a Cabin while Dorian suggests that he purchase a cabin.

The big bad this episode is a drug dealer known as The Bishop who has a new highly addictive drug called you guessed it, the bends.  John really wants to catch this guy after one of his old friends is killed while doing some off the books undercover work. Most of the other cops think that his friend went dirty but John and a handful of others don’t think that is the case. The need and desire to catch the Bishop and the need to have someone who can make the drug up in a good cook makes them call in Rudy as an undercover.

Things get tense when Rudy first goes under and Dorian steps in after shutting down all of his cop communications so that he can help and keep an eye on Rudy luckily that goes well. Rudy also manages to pull off making the synthetic version of the bends that is 95% pure. The bad news is…after the testing and the cooking is done Rudy is taken by the Bishop. Things really hit the fan as it were when they find out Burrows, a cop someone on the inside is the Bishop. This leads into where we were at the start of the episode.

So what happens in the end? Well John and Dorian kill the bad guys and Rudy ends up being alright. This show really has all the right stuff in it and I hope that FOX sees what they have in Almost Human and keep it around!
