Born in the Tundra of Minnesota, I have since become a bit of a Gypsy. Currently calling home base the hot sands of Arizona, I do still travel often. Whether the journey is a physical one, or one taken by reading a fantastic book it doesn't matter, the fun is always in the adventure. As always I am an eclectic person that likes a wide array of things and has many passions. Creating, advocating for animals and Mothering just to name a few.

This weeks Saturday Sanctuary asks: Do you do anything for Solstice?

It surprises some of my non Pagan friends when I ask them if they do anything for Winter Solstice, but others just smile and understand. While yes Solstice is traditionally these days a Pagan thing you can light a yule log and enjoy it even if you are not Pagan.

I of course have a much more detailed bunch of things that I do for the day and I am very excited about it. Even if I have a terrible cold this year.
