Born in the Tundra of Minnesota, I have since become a bit of a Gypsy. Currently calling home base the hot sands of Arizona, I do still travel often. Whether the journey is a physical one, or one taken by reading a fantastic book it doesn't matter, the fun is always in the adventure. As always I am an eclectic person that likes a wide array of things and has many passions. Creating, advocating for animals and Mothering just to name a few.

Like anyone else, you think that the things you have to say are important and interesting. You just know that not everyone is interested in hearing them.

You wait your turn, speak your piece, and quickly turn the conversation back to your partner.

You may choose your words carefully, but people consider you to be more of a brilliant conversationalist than some chatty know-it-all!

6. Have you ever had a telephone conversation in which you or the other party actually asked to hang up first?
I have, with my mom. I admit it.

1. In the last year, which single person has helped you relieve the most of your stress?

I have to say it is hard to narrow it down to just one. Anah has been a great help in times of need. But she has been stressed herself. So if I had to pick one single person who has not had their own stress and has helped me de-stress I would say it was my good old Revvy buddy Vere.

2. In the last year, which single place have you found the most restful, relaxing place to be?

The most restful place in the last year for me has been when I go out on the deck and sit. I like to watch the big yard and listen to the animals and just sit and relax and feel the peace of nature.

3. What single activity relieves the most stress for you?

Reading, when I read I can just get lost in the story and the characters and forget about stress.

4. Do you feel that your church (or your faith) relieves more stress or causes more stress?

That can be a hard one to think about. This last year it has caused more stress, but sometimes it relieves more stress.

5. Take the quiz: How Should You De-stress?

You Should Take Some Deep Breaths
Part of what’s stressing you out right now is that there’s too much going on at once. You hardly have room to breathe.
And to be honest, the idea of taking on a little project to de-stress yourself is even stressful.

So don’t worry about doing much. Just take a few deep breaths. In fact, try it right now.
Doesn’t that feel good? Repeat this as often as you need to. This is the first step to clearing your head and feeling better.

6. Which is more important for you: to “de-stress” or “recharge?”

Recharge! I rarely get enough sleep so being able to lay down and sleep and recharge is great.
