Born in the Tundra of Minnesota, I have since become a bit of a Gypsy. Currently calling home base the hot sands of Arizona, I do still travel often. Whether the journey is a physical one, or one taken by reading a fantastic book it doesn't matter, the fun is always in the adventure. As always I am an eclectic person that likes a wide array of things and has many passions. Creating, advocating for animals and Mothering just to name a few.

So looking at my posts over the last year like I do sometimes when I am getting ready for the overhauls and all of that which comes along with a new year. I noticed I have not done as much actual writing on here as I wish I had. I have shared my crafty stuff, which Is a good thing. I have shared some of my letter writing stuff which I am also glad for! But I have not done as much writing as I thought I would this year. Ah well things slide sometimes no sense in beating myself up about it. However I am going to work diligently to improve the writing ratio even if it is just for myself ha ha!

I know I also need to finish resetting some of the things that got hauled over when the hacker struck *shakes a fist all MOFFAT like* (whovians will get that joke). So in the interest of writing I am so happy it is fall, I love the crisp weather and everything about fall that makes it lovely. Snuggling up with a loved one in front of the fire with a hot mug of something is wonderful. What I do not like is the leaves. Oh the leaves! Because Mr. Ambrosia has been so busy with work stuff and the like..I started the leaf project myself.

Now we do have a leaf blower but let me tell you I found it rather useless. It blew the leaves every way but the way I wanted them to GO and after the piles got big enough it wouldn’t move them at all. What is the point I ask you WHAT? Is it not supposed to be easier with the blower? So many NOTs ..good thing we are a bit old fashioned and still have a rake around oh and of course the dogs had to help…well not Athena no she was in the house sleeping in her covers.

It took two days to get them all raked and of course more fell. At least on Day 2 Mr. Ambrosia was able to help.

Got them all tagged and bagged as it were one task down only about a million to go with the tasks and projects, Oh my! As they say. And for the record after two days of the heavy duty leaf stuff I feel like this.
