Born in the Tundra of Minnesota, I have since become a bit of a Gypsy. Currently calling home base the hot sands of Arizona, I do still travel often. Whether the journey is a physical one, or one taken by reading a fantastic book it doesn't matter, the fun is always in the adventure. As always I am an eclectic person that likes a wide array of things and has many passions. Creating, advocating for animals and Mothering just to name a few.

Those who know me well know I used to dance, and I admire dance. One of my favorite shows on TV is So you Think you can dance I have been disappointed with this season so far the girls are powerful yes and it is not that they do not have beauty, but they voted off the ONLY ballroom dancer they had in the first round of cutoffs. As a ballroom person that disappoints me. So I harken back to my favorite season, three and my favorite Ballroom dancer Pasha Kovalev. Ironically this is not a ballroom pose but a contemporary one. Irony eh? But to me this shows true beauty, true strength and just masterful control in dance. How could I not make this a postcard to send to people and share?

  1. Art is definitely a beautiful thing, a beautiful work in progress. It is beauty and strength. I hope you see my blog http://www.misscheyennemitchell.blogspot.com
