Born in the Tundra of Minnesota, I have since become a bit of a Gypsy. Currently calling home base the hot sands of Arizona, I do still travel often. Whether the journey is a physical one, or one taken by reading a fantastic book it doesn't matter, the fun is always in the adventure. As always I am an eclectic person that likes a wide array of things and has many passions. Creating, advocating for animals and Mothering just to name a few.

Just when you think that Almost Human cannot get any better they come out with this episode. Another fantastically intense episode that makes you question a lot of things. Along with the great chemistry between John and Dorian that has them bickering like an old married couple, they actually pick up a second Dorian unit. I was pretty sure watching that point that John was going to explode all over, but it was funny and added a nice injection of light hearted enjoyment that you would need to carry you through the rest of the episode. Because the rest of the episode was intense.

John and Dorian get a case that leads to uncovering a black market organ scheme. In this future not only can they grow new organs but they have synthetics that are expensive but a lesser option to the fresh grown ones. What happens when you die though? Well the organs are supposed to be destroyed however the market that is found takes the used organs refits them and places them into patients. The bad side? They put these patients on a timer and then blackmail them for money. Miss a payment they turn you off. No heart and well we all know what happens then to human beings. The pulse pounding keeps at it as Dorian and Kennex work with the rest of their team to get to the bottom of this illegal ring. Unfortunately it also causes deaths because as soon as the bad guys know the police are onto them they do not reset the clocks.

Everything about this episode was intense and designed to make you feel like your pulse was in your throat. Right down to the background music when they were going back and forth between the clocks and the cops and the people. The countdown and the music that literally felt like it had a pulse in the background were all designed to draw your further into the episode. Bottom line, this show keeps getting better and more brilliant. John and Dorian make the perfect team and bad guys in the future are still as evil as they are today.
